• Applications manager will manage all stages of application development to meet the MLSD objectives to ensure technical, financial and quality targets are met.

• Develop the system specification and design of business applications.

• Develop and enhance MLSD Applications.

• Maintain and improve Live applications.

• Monitors and reports on the progress of application development.

• Assesses business process requirements; analyzes structure and flow of work and data that support needs; evaluates possible solutions and implements and/or recommends solutions that support the mission, values and goals

• Performs project management and participates on project teams responsible for application implementation and upgrades

• Works closely with technical staff, vendors, and contacts from other institutions to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

• Assures technical support problem resolution related to application software systems through cooperative relationship with Technical Support.

• Creates and maintains standards, procedures, and documentation related to area of responsibility.

• Implements system changes and administers access to systems and information utilizing approved information technology security policies, standards and guidelines.

• May supervise technical/support staff as required by individual position(s); participates in evaluating, training and disciplining.

• Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization to ensure project success and user needs are identified and met.

• May define testing and development environment suitable for testing and evaluation of new technologies.

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or relevant field

• 6+ Years of relevant experience
